The Anchorage Sunset Concerts

Challenge

Many people were unaware of Australand’s Anchorage Estate, tucked away in a picturesque part of Rockingham, south of Perth. The challenge was to attract potential buyers and improve the developer's profile and positioning in the community.

Solution

Creating Communities instigated a series of Sunset Concerts in 2002 for the existing residents and to draw people from the region to the Estate.

Outcome

The concerts were a successful celebration of the Anchorage’s growing vibrant and emerging community. Other positive outcomes included:

• The concert series attracted 4,000 people;

• Positive publicity for the Estate and company;

• The estate became well-known through the Rockingham region via the concerts; and

• Sales and clearance rates dramatically increased.
