ARCUS Quarter Development

Australasian Property Investments (API)

Challenge

Australasian Property Investments is planning a mixed use development in Subiaco, WA.  The proposed development will provide a high quality urban environment with a unique mix of residential, commercial, not-for-profit, retail and civic spaces.

API identified the need for community engagement during the approvals phase of the project in order to inform the local community of the project  and create awareness of the concessions API are seeking from the current planning scheme.

Our Role

  • Develop a Community Engagement Strategy for local residents and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic advice on the community engagement approach and method.
  • Logo design and project branding.
  • Design, write and produce:
    -Project brochure
    -Project website
    -Community Open Day promotional flyers
    -Print advertisements in local newspapers
    -Residents and Stakeholders Information Pack
  • Promote and coordinate the Community Open Day for the Public.
  • Stakeholder and community group liaison/communication.
  • Manage and direct media enquiries.
  • Prepare media releases for local print media.
  • Conducted a door knock among local residents.
  • Design, implement and analyse a Survey Questionnaire to gather feedback.

Outcomes

  • High level of awareness amongst residents and stakeholder groups.
  • Good level of support identified and documented for the proposed projects.
  • Arcus quarter project is still going through the approvals process.
